I am unapologetically 60 years young today! I know many women hide their age, but I am proud to have made it this far. I’m proud of every laugh and every tear, every scar and every wrinkle, everything I have accomplished and everything I have survived. I’m excited about everything I have yet to do, and grateful for the things I have gotten to do. I’m grateful for my friends, my family, my career and my fan base. I am as grateful for my mistakes as I am for my victories. My biggest birthday wish is that people learn to love themselves, to honor their boundaries while also learning to extend themselves beyond the safe borders, patterns, and comfort zones that keep them playing small, and above all …. to find their calling and purpose for being here. There’s always that moment after a show where it’s over but your brain is still going. You’re replaying everything … what worked, what didn’t, what you wish you did differently.
