Billy Stritch and I are going to mix it up in Los Angeles! We do Cast Party there a few times a year, but thought it would be fun to return to Vitello’s, our old stomping ground, for two very special shows! Join us for some great songs, conversation and maybe even a special guest or two!

Monica Ramey at Birdland Jazz Club
September 6, 2026
with @billystritch , Roger Spencer and @e_halvorson
"Now that the trend of aging rockers cutting albums of show tunes and standards seems thankfully to have run its course, we're back to vocalists with a real feel for and understanding of the jazz tradition doing them justice. Nashville's Monica Ramey is a shining example. Her excellent release Make Someone Happy offers resourceful, soaring and engaging interpretations of material from The Great American Songbook." -Ron Wynn, Nashville Scene
Monica Ramey, a talent from the Midwest, has consistently received high praise, collaborating with notable artists including Beegie Adair, Anthony Wilson, Clifton Davis, Jeff Steinberg, Annie Sellick, Roger Spencer, Rod McGaha, Jeff Coffin, and Lori Mechem, all of whom have lauded her artistry.
The significant musical collaboration between Monica and renowned jazz pianist Beegie Adair has been instrumental in her career, leading to numerous album releases and sold-out performances nationwide, particularly at New York's Birdland Jazz Club. The Tennessean remarked on her stage presence, describing her voice as "a smooth, velvety voice formed by years of study and countless performances, putting her own fresh spin on jazz standards." Broadway World highlighted her singing as
"impeccable" declaring her "one of the best jazz vocalists.”
Currently, she is engaged in a year-long residency at NJW, where she curates monthly shows that celebrate the legacy of Great American Composers.
Join Monica for this one night only performance and make your holiday memorable in NYC.

Jim Caruso’s Cast Party with Billy Stritch at the Piano | 13th, 17th & 18th May
They’re back! Jim Caruso’s Cast Party returns to Crazy Coqs, bringing the magic of its legendary 23-year run at NYC’s Birdland.
Expect warmth, glamour, wit and a dazzling mix of West End stars, jazz greats, and exciting new voices. Hosted by Jim Caruso with Billy Stritch at the piano, it’s always a sold-out, star-studded sensation.
Don't miss the party!
I just looked at my calendar and can hardly believe that in two weeks I’ll be back in my beloved London. Jim Caruso and I will be doing three nights of Cast Party, and I’ll also be performing two solo shows.
The venue is the ultra-glamorous and intimate Crazy Coqs at Brasserie Zèdel. I’ve been appearing there for well over a dozen years now, and it remains one of my favorite places to return to.
I’ve planned a special show filled with love songs, wonderful pop favorites, and a tip of the hat to Tony Bennett, whose 100th birthday we celebrate later this year.
I hope my London friends and fans will come join me. Two shows only: Friday, May 15 at 7 PM and Sunday, May 17 at 5 PM. Ticket link in my LinkTree in bio.

Here’s a precious memory that popped up today. This was filmed by yours truly one day six years ago in Linda’s apartment. Linda’s contribution to Stephen Sondheim‘s birthday celebration - which was online that year due to Covid - was her performance of “The Boy From…“ From The Mad Show. The producers had asked Linda Lavin to share a few of her memories of Steve and this was part of her response. I just thought you might enjoy seeing this today. We were about six weeks into Covid and still keeping our distance from each other but because Linda lived three floors above me, we became very close during that strange time. I miss her every day. There was just nobody like her! By the way, one of my most treasured possessions is that lovely Chanel brooch she’s wearing in this. Sometimes I wear it on my tuxedo jacket because I like taking her with me whenever possible, especially to dress up events! #lindalavin #stephensondheim #theboyfrom #covidmemory #themadshow
