Sappy post incoming: IM 70.3 Mussleman last weekend will be a race I'll likely never forget - not because of the raging lakewaters, relentless headwinds, or inescapable heat (though, yikes)...but because of the
@dctriclub community and the deep camaraderie that makes this sometimes isolating sport feel like home.
I didn't quite have the race I hoped, but the cheers, hugs and shared victories more than made up for it. The nerves always hit me hard the week before an A-race, and I'm not always the kindest or most supportive person to myself in those moments. But I've been incredibly lucky to borrow the belief from so many of my teammates and supporters when I can't find it on my own .
And while qualifying for the 2026 IM 70.3 World Championships 🏅 is something I’m incredibly proud of, the real joy is that I get to share it with Ian and Andrew. It's even better when your biggest wins can be shared with the best people and the best cheer squad!
