Another #bmxday where I’m left speechless at how much this shit is my life. Today, my thoughts are: it’s more than just little bikes, but rather the time with the people you meet and the experiences you have as a result of you being on this little bike. Incredibly thankful for all the things I’ve seen, places I’ve been, and, mostly, people I’ve met because of Bmx. These snaps are all from Italy a little while ago. I took the kid and introduced him to the Italian homies and that shit meant the world to me. Showing Mikele Bmx and him being stoked on it has been amazing. Looking forward to more trips, more spots, more drinks, and most of all more time with the people who I’ve met through bmx; including @elishia_m . Had the chance to go back to @raysmtb last weekend with the homies from all over to inspect the structural integrity of the part of the deck just before the landing. Faked the funk with @wrhoe594 the best and cased every jump in the place. It was good seeing all the Iowa dudes who started this tradition and the rest of the homies who made the trek to Cleveland. Piccolo, today you made me so happy and you have no idea why. Really been in the feels lately after having been trapped at home for a year. Could be worse places for sure but, if you’ve been watching the stories, you know I’m thinking about the past. I’m constantly thankful for everything bmx has given to me and I wish everyone could have these experiences. That picture of @panosmanaras I posted yesterday and the brief story included really made me thankful for that experience. I am hopeful my son gets to meet another human, become friends within hours, fly across the world and be welcomed into a family of people as if you were born in the hospital room next to all of them.
