Thank you, Councilmember Traci Park (CD-11) @councilwomantracipark and your incredible team, for hosting such an inspiring day at Los Angeles City Hall with the Venice Chamber of Commerce @venicechamber ! We left feeling energized, informed, and proud to see the meaningful work being done to uplift our community.
It’s an honor to witness firsthand the positive impact taking shape here in Venice and beyond. I am grateful to everyone who made this trip so educational, memorable, and full of connection.
We had the opportunity to go onto the Jim Henson Studio lot, formerly the A&M Music Recording Studio built by Herb Albert, and originally built by Charlie Chaplin.
We had tickets to see Puppet Up, an uncensored adult puppet show that interacts with the audience. Brian Henson spoke about learning the art of puppets, Muppets, and working with his father Jim Henson.
The show is hosted and done in an improvisation style.
The puppeteers talent and wit are unbelievably gifted and talented. We all laughed so hard we cried.
This experience was something extra special and it was so good to laugh more than I have laughed in years. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.
If you have a chance, go. We had the best time.

Luna Luna - Thirty-six years ago, Luna Luna landed in Hamburg, Germany: the world’s first art amusement park with rides, games, and attractions by visionary artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and David Hockney. By a twist of fate, the park’s treasures were soon sealed in 44 shipping containers and forgotten in Texas—until now.
