Last may, @distraction.fun had the honor of being part of the A MAZE festival (@a_mazefest) in Berlin (DE).Marie Janin (@mariepiajanin) co-director of Sickhouse (@sickhouse.nl) moderated a chit-chat session with us :“Distraction collective : Friends from the space between"."A talk to celebrate the serendipitous friendships and shared obsessions that fuel their practice. From a mutual love of horror and queer dissident spaces to video games and all things nerdy, they’ll discuss building collaborative worlds outside the games industry."

Focus on @chochinbiChochinbi is a French artist whose work explores how the body extends into virtual spaces to seek incarnation and post-reality intimacy. Through avatars, digital narratives, and sacred-like ceremonies, they reflects on how we experience love and loneliness in mediated worlds.They speaks to a hyper-connected yet emotionally disoriented generation, offering spaces where the self becomes fluid, feelings are reprogrammed, and tenderness emerges as a radical stance. In these liminal zones, fantasy is not an escape but a way to reconnect with reality through emotion and projection.
