High heels and that distinctive way of sitting sideways at the piano. Time passes, but at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan she proved to be the same Tori Amos: less theatrical than in the ’90s, yet with a perfectly controlled voice and flawless timing. Talent never ages, and her stage presence conveyed a natural authority, that of a true queen.
Tacco altissimo e quel modo particolare di sedersi a trequarti davanti al pianoforte. Gli anni passano, ma al Teatro degli Arcimboldi di Milano si è confermata la solita Tori Amos: meno teatrale rispetto agli anni ’90, ma con una voce perfettamente controllata e una gestione dei tempi impeccabile. Il talento non invecchia mai, e la sua presenza scenica sul palco ha trasmesso un’autorevolezza naturale, quella di una vera regina.
