Another artist friend that is wildly inspiring.
SWIPE. A Grecian artist in his ceramics workshop on the island of Santorini in the Cyclades.
Not sure about anyone else, but I’m about ready to spend a month with him to outfit my entire kitchen with plates, bowls, and coffee mugs.

More than 60 ft of snow in the mountains have me day dreaming of these sunny weeks in Greece last summer.

Got to cruise around/ survival ski @snowbird in the fog yesterday with my camera and @addy_jacobsend in the lead, who kindly volunteered to go shoot with me!
We did a lot of traversing, stash searching, and tram lining and after a total of two runs, this is what we came up with. I’m really fired up about all of em, but which do you think is my favorite photo?
The line of the day wasn’t anything that was skied, but by something that was said by Addy. “Since it’s snowing and we can’t see let’s take it’s snowing photos” and immediately sticks out her tongue to catch snowflakes. I’ll take low quality light with a high quality humans, athletes and attitudes on any day.
Huge thanks to Addy for getting out despite conditions and earlier this season to her husband (@masoncameron8 ) for helping me build my portfolio. Grateful for people like you two who help me keep chasing the dream 🥹.
If anyone ever wants to go take some ski photos, I’m still working on building a collection of winter photos so that I can get more work in the industry. I’m always keen to get out - just say the word 👏👏

Some favs from the @azopenmx which was hosted couple of weeks ago. I’m still very green to the world of motor sports but at this point, I think it goes without saying - if it moves fast, I’m going to do my best to slow it down with my camera.

Always impressed with the bike skills that @arnoldpetament has in his back pocket. In this go around, I learned that the man can see in the dark.

Most of the time I don’t bring my camera, but sometimes I do.
These snaps of @albravs was from a little dawn patrol to the top of mt superior and probably one of my favorite peaks to walk up in the #wasatch.
Spent the morning shooting with @andreastofko in LCC. Couldn’t have asked for better company and moodier vibes as the sun rippled through the clouds every now and again.
Another 4:45 wake up done and dusted and thanks to Andrea for signing up for Dirks high intensity training camp (she wasn’t phased one bit).

Can I be a running photographer yet!?
Had a blast going out with @albravs who actually makes running seem like a lot of fun. It’s never fun to wake up at 5 am except maybe to go take photos of your friends doing what they like doing best.
