@dir.oskar work often revolves around the fragility of masculinity while attempting to reduce the disparity between contrasting individuals. His short films have earned him minor acclaim at festivals across the globe, winning his first award for Best Short Film at the BFI Future Film Festival at age 18.
His recent work has won him Best Director at Swindon Film Festival 2023 for Old Man, Con Man and Best Story at Art Without Limits Festival in Kosovo for Darkness and Light. Oskar’s latest short, (It’s Getting Late) Mr Pipkin starring Alan Ford, has just been completed and will begin its festival run shortly.
Outside of his own films, Oskar has experience working on large studio productions such as Warner Brothers’ Barbie, Netflix’s The Crown and HBO’s The Regime.
