Close your eyes
Make a wish
I can see you're frustrated
You're needing to get outside of this
/
Here's my hand
I'll take yours
I can feel your heart beating
On the edge of my finger tips
/
Here's my consolation
All situations will pass us by
I'm not here to judge, I'm the rock that wont budge
If you need to cry
/
It saves me
When I save you
My home is where your heart is
/
Let's let go
Of the things that bring us down
Take a breath of fresh air; forget that we care
And look around
/
Let's forget
The problems will fade away
Let's soak up this moment- and savor the time
We're in this together, your heart and mine
/
Here's my consolation
All situations will pass us by
I'm not here to judge, I'm the rock that wont budge
If you need to cry
/
It saves me
When I save you
My home is where your heart is
It saves me
When I save you
My home is where your heart is
/
And when these walls, they start closing in
I'll break them down, i'll break them down
And if these walls, they get to high
Just remember that i'm right by your side, each prayer accepted
And each wish resigned
/
It saves me
When I save you
My home is where your heart is
It saves me
When I save you
Our home is where our love is
#tbt May. 2020. Brooklyn, NY.
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the prairies and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting -
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.

Wild Geese
Back in September 2025, I fell down a deep French New Wave rabbit hole, and somewhere in the middle of all that inspiration this short film was born.
It started as a poem, grew into a 6-minute fever dream, and ended up feeling like a personal time capsule I didn't know I needed to make.
VÉRITÉ is a black-and-white cinematic tone poem that drifts between observation and intimacy. Blending voiceover, image, and memory, the film explores love, performance, and the quiet tension between seeing and being seen in a world saturated with cameras.

With love and gratitude, for the phantoms that inhabit these frames.
The image; the machine.
The heart; the humans.
John, my beloved brother and companion. I am at a loss of words. I know I’m not alone with a shattered heart, and am eternally grateful to have shared the same air with you on this planet. 🙏🏾🕊️📿
Happy 70th to the legend @yoyoma ! Massively full of gratitude for all that you have shared, contributed, and inspired. As a musician, yeah you’re out of this world, but as a HUMAN your constant exploration and state of wonder continues to help provide a blueprint for how to live with curiosity, compassion, and joy.
