When you close your eyes and enter the olfactive world of a cemetery… where lillies and roses lay to honor the dead, where candles are lit to illuminate their memories and the scent of cypress, patchouli and beeswax invites you to a special place…
Inspired by my all-time love for cemeteries, tombs and scultures plus my recent photographic series „TransMutations“, I have created the perfume „Transmutations“, together with the Polish brand @mo61_perfumelab .
While the perfume is available to order, I will tell the full story about my inspiration, procedure etc. in the upcoming issue of @nocturnazine .
So scent up, kick back, close your eyes and take this walk together.

Alyscamps, Arles, necropolis - here are the 10 reasons why I love this place so much:
🖤 the overall atmosphere: once I enter the area, I am connected and drawn to dive in
🖤 the stroll along the vast alley, framed by all these ancient sarcophagi, makes me channel Vincent van Gogh and Toulouse Lautrec who painted here
🖤 the buzzing sound of the cicadas during the summer time and the soft breeze of the Mistral during the winter months
🖤 the soft and beautiful light that shines through the oculus of the Chapelle Notre-Dame and turns this very chapel into one of my all-time favorite places
🖤 the faces on the corner of this sarcophagus who almost seem to talk to you, when standing there in silence
🖤 trying to decipher the inscriptions at the outer shell of the tombs
🖤 the silence and the fresh air when you enter the Church of Saint-Honorat
🖤 the echo of my voice when singing there
🖤 the many signs & signets that can be found on the sarcophagi as well as on the walls of the church
🖤 imagining how the alley and the church used to look back in the active days
🖤 discovering the secret passways in the crypta below

My work is about love and death, beauty and decay, doom and highs, sad poetry and resurrection. I document what I see, channel the energy that I feel and reach out to share my vision.

The time, the one & only @lilystreeternyc invited me for a photo shoot in Berlin, featuring the iconic Angel Heart Ring I had bought from her dad, the legendary silversmith @alexstreeternyc from New York!
Back in 2021, Lily traveled to Berlin, we met for the first time and took a series of cool images together in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
Forever thankful, dear Lily!

Como this week, and some images, reflecting the things I walked by, that I discovered and witnessed. The lake, the history, the culinary aspect, and the overall atmosphere… it’s a holistic experience. Feeling thankful.
Just wow… if you are drenched, hungry and then, you spot a double rainbow appearing in the evening sky! Pure magic!

When you have time to visit the mighty Dome of Como… and you are just like “ WOW” 🖤👁🖤
➡️ Como Cathedral, also known as the Duomo of Como, is the city’s most famous landmark and one of the largest churches in northern Italy. Construction began in the 14th century and combined Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architectural styles over several centuries. The cathedral is admired for its detailed façade, grand dome, beautiful stained-glass windows, and richly decorated interior, making it a cultural and spiritual symbol of Como.
