💻You can view the lots (there are over 200 lots so there is bound to be something for everyone!) and place online bids in advance of the sale on Saturday - visit Frasers Auction Rooms, Dingwall online to see what there is!
It is fantastic to see so many charities nominated so fingers crossed the day raises lots of much needed funds for these local charities.
And that's not at all! On Sunday there will be a Food & Craft Fair at the Mart, from 10am - 3pm.

Last week we had a beautiful art workshop with @artsinnature and we're really looking forward to this month's session - a nature art walk! 🌳🚶🏻♀️

Thousands of pollinator-friendly seeds were handed out at the parade on Saturday for people to take home and plant in their own gardens, doorstep pots and window boxes. 🌿🌸
🍅At the Great Seed Giveaway, people took home seeds from @seedsofscotland , including Sutherland Kale, a Scotland Yellow Tomato and a Red Fox Carlin Pea. We hope to include some of the vegetables that will be grown in our The Town is the Menu dishes and at our Harvest event later in the year.

What.A.Day! A huge thank you to everyone who attended a workshop or came along to watch the parade on Saturday - it was quite a sight to see! 🐝🦋
The parade was the culmination of an amazing week of community participation, led by @visionmechanicsleith - thank you! Over 120 people created 45 bee puppets and art student, @eracionzer_art , joined us for the week and created an impressive giant butterfly! You couldn’t miss it!
We had people of ages, families, groups of friends, adults on their own, even some 4-legged friends, come along to what was a fun Easter activity for all. And it was fantastic to see people from further afield coming to Dingwall especially for this and then staying to check out our local shops.

💜 As a family we both (Mum + Dad) work fulltime and this is such a lovely way to relax and do something creative as a family. Thank you
💛 We absolutely loved getting stuck in with the community and helping everyone. It was great fun learning new skills. We would love to make this a yearly tradition.

💙 This was a fun and creative activity for our family to do together. It brought out the inner child, was great for team building and was fun!
💞 We have come through from Inverness and made a day of it in Dingwall. The local shops are great and we had lunch too. The workshops have been amazing – working with willow is so therapeutic .

Coming up this month...
There is still plenty to come this month as we continue the Dingwall 800 celebrations! With singing groups, art workshops and talks all yet to happen, why not come along, try something new and get involved! These are all free events.
🎶 The Big Sing, a new singing group led by acclaimed singer, @fionnagnicchoinnich kicks off on Tuesday 21st April, and the group will get the opportunity to perform at other Dingwall 800 events throughout the year.

👩 Women of Dingwall with Ross-shire artist and musician @fiona.k.black on 25th April will explore the often-overlooked contributions of women to the history and cultural identity of Dingwall. No booking required. This is a drop in event so pop in any time between 10am - 4pm.
👩🏼🎨Charlotte Mackenzie, @artsinnature , is running a series of art workshops throughout the year with the first one on 30th April. These workshops will take inspiration from the River Peffery, Dingwall Canal and the Cromarty Firth.
