Race 1 - was running in third until I got the black and orange flag,turns out my fairing was coming off 😂
Race 2- Had to start from the back but managed to work my way to 8th

We did it !
We came into the final round 32 points behind.
The goal for Saturday - push on and limit as much points damage as possible.
Sunday the rains coming so push on and pray.
What actually happened…
Friday test day went really well, getting to low 1.23 laps.
Full of confidence for Saturday qualifying I went out and ended up trying to get on the same piece of tarmac another racer wanted 😂
After begging, borrowing and stealing the parts needed @emilyjanenorth and I got the bike back together for Race 1 we went out and managed to get back 17th out of 40 odd riders and 2nd in class.
Race 2
Feeling very secondhand I managed 19th overall but 2nd in class again.
Sunday.
After some rest and some paracetamol, we patiently waited for Race 3 to be called, however it started raining very lightly.
Unsure of which setting to use in the bike an early lunch was called and we had to wait, then the heavens opened.
We lined up for race 3 starting 21st on the grid.
As the lights went out I just pushed and managed (by some miracle) to finish 8th overall and second in class.
For the first time all season I lead the rookie championship!
Race 4
We got off to a brilliant start but as the race went on I started to miss markers and make mistakes, so I decided rather than chase it was better to back off and bring it home rather than throw it all away (longest 6 laps of my life)
But we did it - The first Bemsee Thunderbike 500 Rookie Champion !!
