Finish line drama…I messed up the last corner big time and managed to charge to the line…where @abby_marshalll still beat me across line by 0.003
Bemsee round 3 - Donington GP
Decided to buy a CB 500 and have a go!
Friday - Test day, a few bike issues, didn’t complete one session as the bike kept spluttering and dying, thought it had run out of fuel, but in the end it was a heavily blocked fuel filter and carbs.
Ky got to work on it Friday afternoon/evening, tank off, filter cleaned ( then removed in the end )
Saturday morning Qualifying, not knowing how the bike would run or even still figured out how to ride it properly around donington and qualified P20 with a 1:54.5
Race 1 - finished P18 with a best lap time of 153.1
Race 2 - a few bike issues and finished P20
Race 3 - In the 1:53’s again finished P21
Race 4 - mega battles especially last few laps finished P19…. 0.003 behind Abby as we crossed the line!
Good weekend and plenty of fun!
