During my recent trip to Tamale, we captured a special moment that was intimate , grounded and cultural. At @redclay_studio , my dear friend @dinewithchefdee and I curated a dinner that honored local dishes and drinks while drawing inspiration from the Contemporary African Kitchen cookbook. We invited guests to slow down, sit together, and experience food as culture, memory, and community. Forever grateful for the opportunity to create beautiful dining experiences like this ❤️🇬🇭✨

Taking flight with flavors😋
We hosted the amazing IPA staff today for their end of year party where we treated them to a buffet spread in our stationary aircraft. It was a taste of flight and flavors, and a fantastic way to wrap up the year! 🎉

We hosted over 600 planners from across the country as part of their annual conference activities, which was held in the northern region for the first time. We were thrilled to cater for all our amazing guests with a delicious and hearty buffet spread. A big thank you to the team that made this possible

World Food Day 2025 🎊🎊
Today in Kumbungu Tamale,we celebrated World Food Day with our first Flavours for Impact session ,cooking, learning, and impacting lives. 💛
Flavours for Impact is an initiative that uses food as a tool for education, empowerment, and change ..helping students understand nutrition, embrace our indigenous food systems, explore careers in food, and learn about sustainability and reducing food waste.
We also talked about the stereotypes and myths surrounding cooking and food, challenging the belief that cooking is limited to a certain gender or that traditional ingredients are “less valuable.” The goal is to help young people see food as creativity, science, and opportunity not limitation.
It was a day filled with love, joy, learning, and powerful impact stories. The entire Kumbungu community welcomed us with so much warmth ..from the students and teachers to parents and neighbors who joined to learn, taste, and celebrate. Their excitement and openness made this moment truly special.
Together, we cooked dawadawa jollof with shea butter, celebrating local ingredients and culture, and proving that food is more than what we eat.,it’s how we learn, grow, and create change. ✨
