Très heureuse de vous annoncer que notre court métrage 🎬 Sous le Soleil du Kwat ouvrira officiellement le Douala International Film Festival (DIFF) ce mardi 12 mai 2026 à 17h30 à l’Institut Français de Douala. ✨ @if_cameroun Une soirée dédiée au cinéma africain avec également la projection du long métrage 🎬 NOME de Sana Na N’Hada. 📍 Entrée libre dans la limite des places disponibles. "Taste of New" a short film . It was my story, chasing loneliness, or forgiveness, maybe facing mental health illness. As soon as I let it go, there she was, at the beginning of that new journey. It was really hard facing toxicity, thinking there where no chance for a tomorrow again.. No love, no more.. Self-love was obviously an energy gainer during the journey, I still went for it, and I went for her too, and it was more than adrenaline, dopamine, endorphins not stuffs like that. It was a pure & healthy love diet we were on. I was inspired in this project by my so idyllic & so real love story with my regretted precedent favorite human and partner; I wanted to associate my love story to a train journey like in “les voyages en train - Grand corps malade”, i revisited the story behind with mine truthfully. The edits chosen for this project are in direct alignement with how soft & dreamy I see love, regardless of what one might think love color is. Something I deeply appreciate on this project is the sound design by Madiba , it’s a unique environnent that was engeneered and curated by this very Producer that gives the Space to my emotions to simply exist in the form and shape I wanted them. Dinadèle stays a big part of this project because she held our hand all together with her vision and that helped us to go though the project. Neil played a key role as he was the one telling us the story with his body, his emotions and the way all that together was living in the Time and Space we all created together to best express the feelings behind my vision of love and one’s identity. All thanks to this fantastic crew i was able to bring together as professionals and as friends in whom i trust and who trust me as well.
