Son premier court-métrage s’inscrit dans la continuité du parcours de Jean-Pierre Dikonguè Pipa, son grand-père, premier réalisateur d’un long-métrage au Cameroun et pionnier du cinéma camerounais. Le film explore des récits humains à travers une histoire d’amour à la fois intime et universelle, ancrée dans les dynamiques de déplacement, la résilience et les contradictions vibrantes du quotidien. Il capture également les sonorités vibrantes du Makossa avec une bande originale signée Salle John, maestro du Makossa et de l’Asiko. Her debut short film continues the legacy of her grandfather, Jean-Pierre Dikongué Pipa, the first director of a feature film in Cameroon and a pioneer of Cameroonian cinema. The film explores human stories through a love story that is both intimate and universal, rooted in themes of movement, resilience, and the vibrant contradictions of everyday life. It also captures the vibrant sounds of Makossa, with an original score by Salle John, maestro of Makossa and Asiko. In Bonaberi, Ndolamio and Ndolami experience a love suspended by a secret, in a tender and luminous portrait of Cameroon.
