In 2025, I got to travel to LA. And I understood what Frank Lloyd Wright meant when he said “Tip the world over on its side and everything loose will land in Los Angeles”. And I got to stand - and cry - in front of the Ennis house he designed (aka the Blade Runner house). And I followed Harry Cohn’s advice, “If you must get in trouble, do it at the Chateau Marmont”. And I met three great ladies, and we biked along Venice beach, and we dipped our feet in the ocean, and someone rapped about my yellow bag. And I held an Oscar award. That’s all, folks!
They call LA the City of Dreams for a reason.
That night felt like living one of mine, and meeting Dita Von Teese was an unforgettable moment.

"Η τελευταία πράξη παίζεται όταν, μετά τη συναυλία, μαζί με εκατοντάδες κόσμου περιμένουμε τη σειρά μας να μπούμε στο μετρό και, ξεκινώντας από μία φωνή στο πλήθος, βρισκόμαστε ξαφνικά όλοι να τραγουδάμε το ρεφρέν από το «Stop Crying Your Heart Out», σαν καθησυχαστικό νανούρισμα.
Όσα ακούμε καθημερινά ότι συμβαίνουν στον κόσμο, εντείνουν την αίσθηση ότι οι άνθρωποι είμαστε ικανοί για τα χειρότερα. Τραγουδώντας μαζί με τους Oasis και 80.000 «συνοδοιπόρους» το Live Forever, δεν βούρκωσα επειδή ένιωσα ξανά νέα και ότι μπορώ να ζήσω για πάντα, όπως όταν το άκουσα για πρώτη φορά. Βούρκωσα, επειδή ήταν ο ύμνος για τις τρεις μέρες που έζησα σε έναν όμορφο κόσμο, όπου οι άνθρωποι ήμασταν ικανοί για τα καλύτερα."

Νέα milestones: έσβησα κεράκια σε παστίτσιο, έσβησα κεράκια με το βαφτιστήρι μου, έσβησα οδοντογλυφίδα αντί για κεράκι στο μπαρ που θυμήθηκε τα γενέθλιά μου.

Counting down the days until the third edition of Vogue Greece’s Change Makers conference, which will take place at the Athens Concert Hall on November 5, with key international and Greek industry players going onstage to discuss and exchange ideas on various changemaking fashion issues: the making of a catwalk show, heritage, craftsmanship and innovation, diversity and inclusion, sustainable practices and female empowerment. At the Athens Concert Hall, I will have the honour and the pleasure to welcome onstage Casey Cadwallader, Creative Director of Mugler - a true changemaker in the fashion industry who reestablished the house of Mugler as a cultural trendsetter.
