@vladimirarandarosales during the summer of 2023, while we were still renovating to open our doors for the first time. Once the piano found its rightful place, he began practising to play what ended up being an unforgettable performance on September 22nd. There were screws, nails and wooden sticks on the floor. Tape was coming out of the piano like innards. Highly percussive clicks and metallic friction resulted in something resembling a door as tall as the eye can see slowly closing. With the aura still floating from the concert, this album was recorded two days later.
@dim.things began in 2023 as a cultural space focusing on concerts for improvised and experimental music. Now, we are aiming to give a home to work by the exceptional artists that have become part of our family. With Templo vacío, we begin the journey of dim editions.
