Where You Left Me I made this short dance film for the @kibbutzdancecompany creation platform, #INSIDERS, in 2021. 8 minutes might be a big ask, but if you could spare a little time during your morning coffee or lunch-break, I'd be honored if you gave it a watch. This was my first time choreographing, directing, scoring, filming, and editing all together. I couldn't have done it without @learjbg , the stunning actress and dancer you see above. This film tackles the idea of loss and what it means to physically cope with abstract feelings like emptiness. He gets it. Working with @dilltea on the video for The Revolution of the AI felt natural from the first moment. No long discussions. No need to explain much. Just a shared sense of what matters and what needs to happen. The idea for the video was very clear to me from the start, so I made a rough sketch to capture the vibe. Close-ups. Intensity. Something slightly uncomfortable, but also playful. Inglorious Bastards felt like a good reference. When Dylan stepped in, things moved faster. He got the idea straight away and started pushing it further. Bringing in ideas, finding locations, shaping how we could actually make it happen within the reality we had. The original plan was to shoot indoors. Controlled, precise. None of that happened. We took it outside, shot everything on a phone, and did the whole shooting in less than two hours. Fast. Crazy. Intense. Slightly ridiculous. Somehow worked. What I appreciated was how he worked inside the idea. Not trying to change it, but finding ways to stretch it, sharpen it, make it land stronger. He also took care of pulling things together with the brilliant (and slightly mad) dancers from @rambertdance who trusted us and jumped straight into the madness. No questions, just full commitment. That made a big difference. I love working with people who get it and keep things simple. Glad he stepped into this one. If you haven’t seen the video yet, it’s in the bio. The song’s there too.
