KEY SECTIONS TO THINK ABOUT
• The Asylum Rock Garden caused a lot of puzzling with riders during last weekends @prodownhillseries race. This line comparison between @luca_cometti and @jtfishr goes to show how critical your entrance and exit speed is on a section such as this.
ROUND #2 @prodownhillseries RECAP
•
This race highlighted the difference between the riders who arrived fully prepared and those who were still adapting throughout the weekend. The weather played a significant role in the event, reinforcing the importance of preparation and planning before race day. Riders must put in the work at home, study the conditions, look at weather ahead of time, and ensure they are equipped for the toughest possible circumstances in order to give themselves the best chance of delivering a strong performance.
Another @prodownhillseries TRACK WALK! 🏁 We’re out at @mountaincreekbikepark this weekend for Round 2 of the Pro Downhill Series.
@dillonlemarr and @nekomulally led a guided track walk for racers looking to get more out of their track analysis and practice laps. 👊 With weather potentially rolling in on race day, track walks are even more important this weekend. Practice and qualifying are shaping up to be prime conditions, but by finals, the track could be completely different. Taking the time to study line choices now, and how they may develop in changing conditions, could be the difference between a top 10 and a podium!
We’ll be hosting guided track walks at every round this season. If you missed this one, catch us at the next stop in Solitude, Utah! 📍

Thank you to everyone that joined the Guided Track Walk yesterday with @nekomulally and myself. It’s always great to meet new people at the races and assist in anyway that we can to help fine tune their personal race craft. Big shoutout to @usacycling and @prodownhillseries for supporting this program, and now it’s time to go racing.
I’ve been putting in a good amount of time on the @bansheebikes Titan lately, and I am honestly impressed with how easy it has been to find a setup that I’m happy with in all conditions. More in-depth details coming on what I have changed from first ride to now.👊🏻

INDUSTRY TALK: FOLLOWING UP
•
I have previously spoken about the importance of effective communication, and following up is a key part of that process. After any event where you have the opportunity to speak face-to-face with one of your sponsors or a potential brand you are interested in working with, it is always beneficial to send a brief follow-up message. Thank them for their time and revisit the key details you discussed. This helps remind them of important points in case they have slipped their mind, while also demonstrating your professionalism and commitment. In the long run, consistent follow-ups can help you secure the support you need as an athlete and build stronger relationships with brands.

MYERS FLYER LOWER SECTION IS NOW OPEN
•
This new lower section of Myers Flyer at Virginia Canyon is open and absolutely ripping. Kudos to @flowrideconcepts for building this beast of a jump trail and @combaorg for letting us get an early look at it. Pumped to get some more laps in on it!

FRAME REVIEW: BANSHEE TITAN V3.2
•
First off, who doesn’t love an all black anodized frame? Clean, stealthy, metal, and mean looking just how we like it.
The Banshee Titan V3.2 has been in the Banshee Bikes lineup for a few years now and I can see why it is one of their best selling frames that they offer.
Banshee uses 7005 T6 aluminum for the tubing on the Titan compared to most brands using 6061. They do this simply for its superior quality, longevity, and 4.5% stiffer rating compared to using 6061.
The frame offers 155mm of rear travel and I partnered that with 170mm up front. I am more than excited to put some time in on this one and stay tuned for more details and initial impressions coming soon!
