The last one was the very first one I did back in 2021. I had never seen a pose like this before then… so I’d like to think that I created this shot lol 🤷🏾♂️

“ My destiny was delayed, but never denied” ✨👩🏾🎓
A large town city girl, as some would say, from what they called the “ghetto” on the Eastside. Moved 6 hours away from home for 4 years, unaware of the divine path God had in store for me. Moving to Memphis seemed like a major milestone, and to be truthful, I was not prepared for the challenges that was ahead of me. However, I am not the same individual I was when I stepped onto campus in 21’. LeMoyne-Owen College nurtured me into the woman God intended me to be. LOC taught me to be patient, persistent, a warrior, and a leader to my peers. Despite the triumphs, obstacles, lessons learned, silent battles, isolation, and long nights, I conquered them all with God by my side to reach the finish line. My degree and the opportunities given to me by Memphis is the greatest blessing that I will forever be grateful for. I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has stood by my side throughout this incredible journey. Your support has been invaluable. I left my mark in Memphis, and I truly have no regrets. THANK YOU, LOC 💜

“You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and the light will shine on the road ahead of you.” — Job 22:28
I really did it.
On May 15, I’ll be graduating as a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences. This journey was far from easy. There were countless moments when I felt exhausted, overwhelmed, and uncertain, but through it all, God gave me the strength to keep going.
Every late night, every tear, every prayer, it all led me here. I’m incredibly grateful for the perseverance to finish what I started and for the growth I found along the way.
