It means I don’t just show up and host a show — I do the homework. I spend hours learning about your guests, your company culture, or even your family history to create an experience that’s truly tailored to your event.
Sometimes, I end up knowing more about your organization than what’s currently on your website (and trust me — 99 times out of 100, that info is out of date anyway 🙈). You’d be surprised how often employees don’t know the company slogan… or how often I hear, “We’re launching a new site soon — that one’s old.”

Sometimes, the wildest ideas turn out to be the best ones.
A few months ago, a friend pulled me aside and said, “You NEED to take a booth at the THRIVE Healthcare event.”
I laughed. “Why would a Game Show Host be at a healthcare event?”
He looked me dead in the eye and said, “Because EVERY person in that room plans corporate events — and they NEED what you do. They just don’t know it yet.”
Fast forward to yesterday: I took the leap and set up a booth at THRIVE.
Every other vendor? Healthcare-specific.
Me? Entertainment and engagement for corporate events.
And guess what? Less than 24 hours after the event ended, I am already in the car on my way to a gig directly booked from that booth.
Here’s the takeaway:
✅ Get out of your comfort zone.
✅ Show up in unexpected places.
✅ Trust the crazy ideas — they just might work.
Oh, and if you haven’t been to a @powwowshows event yet, you’re missing out. They are absolutely incredible.
