An Update from our founder,
Hey all. Brandon here. Social media is not my thing over here, food and community are, and hence our absence on this platform. I wanted to take a quick moment to update you on Dig & Serve!
Last year, we found out a new team member would be joining the crew and 9 months later, in January 2025, we welcomed our newest dishwasher. We produced our biggest event in our history in June 2024 and crushed through the season. After a purposely slow start to 2025, we are back in the saddle producing events throughout Northern NM for people who truly love food and community as much as we do.
On November 5 of last year, after a 2 night retreat at KitFox, the KitFox property suffered an enormous loss after an unprecedented snow storm dumped 18 inches of heavy wet snow and sent all fully furnished lodging tents crashing down. Our crew, along with the KitFox team, and a bunch of friends rushed to the site to save what we could.
@staykitfox founder, Dig & Serve co-founder, and my life partner of 19 years was 8 months pregnant directing cleanup operations in knee-deep snow. It was a pretty wild few days to say the least.
As a new father and a small business owner, I can honestly say the last year and a half has been the most challenging, but the most rewarding in my life. I get to bring my little one to work and we continue to see the demand for Dig & Serve grow, even without any advertising. Never did I think this idea would turn it to what it has, but today I am thankful to all those who have supported us over the years. Our business has changed and shifted but one thing will always remain: The Dig & Serve team is committed to producing the highest quality dining experiences in this state, using the best local inputs we can find from farmers, ranchers, producers, and creators we know and trust. I hope we can serve you soon. Until then…..
Cheers,
Brandon
