So last Sunday I received a really great compliment after my Kingsnight set. Talking to some friends after the set, a guy walked up to me and told me he was very impressed with the set. He was really suprised and appriciative of with how I mixed different genres and vibes smoothly and in context. He said it was one of the best shows he had seen in a long time. I - LOVE - THAT ❤️ Having my fair share of insecurities, about myself and about what I make and play, this is so nice to hear! It can be tough as an artist to feel like your just struggling by yourself. So please, don't hesitate to show your love to creators you appriciate and admire. And: tell them why ☺️ Also: tell other people! Share their music and art. Tell others what you like about it. Small independent artist need you as their ambassadors! It can be hard to convince promoters and curators to play, showcase or expose so we need all the support we can get! Fellow creatives: can you relate?

Yes, well here's the thing: Usually I'm quite punctual, but somehow didn't find the time to update the Digging This playlist on the first friday this month. So a few days late but here it is! It's Spring and so there are a lot of fresh tunes featured in this months update. Check it on Qobuz (link in bio). This is a streaming platform that has better pay-outs for artists than Spotify. Also it doesn't push trending algorithmic noise which keeps listening honest. For now also available on Spotify, but I'm shifting to Qobuz. Will you join me? If you're still in doubt, don't hesitate to send me a message! Enjoy Digging This! ❤️

I'm going away. Slowly, but firm. From Spotify to @qobuz . Starting with making the updated Digging This playlist on Qobuz for the first time. In time, it will dissappear from Spotify. I believe artists should be appriciated for their work and I believe Qobuz does a much better job. Rethink you music consumption. Support artist by using a platform like Qobuz with higher payout rate. Or buy it on bandcamp! In the coming year I will share more on this subject. For now: Enjoy Digging This! (Link in bio) Disclaimer: I'm not endorsed by Qobuz. This is my personal recommendation. Picture by @indyadarkwah

Today, this track, Mytrle Avenue by Floating Points, gave me a 10 minute refuge of the whirlwind the world seems to be these days. It's been a part of my personal canon for a while and it has such a soothing vibe. I just felt like sharing it. Hope you enjoy it just as much as I do. ❤️

I’m starting to actively update the Digging This Spotify-playlist again. Check the link in my bio. From 2026 onward, the playlist will get a monthly update. Let me also be upfront: I can’t fully support Spotify. Artists are still paid a pittance for their work. Fractions of a cent per stream for most musicians, especially independents, like myself. Millions of streams are often needed just to make a living. Even more troubling, co-founder Daniel Ek is investing millions in military AI through his firm Prima Materia, including the German defense company Helsing, which builds AI for drones, aircraft, and battlefield tech. Many artists refuse to let their music indirectly support such ventures. Because of this, I want to explore alternatives to Spotify this year. Platforms that are fairer to artists and aligned with values we can feel good about supporting. I’d love to hear what you think: as a listener, what matters most to you in a music service? For now, listen and follow the Digging This playlist. Thanks for your support!

It's that time: looking back at 2025. A year in which I have developed as an artist. Some hightlights: I had my first single released in March and my first EP in november on @deathbydaggerlabel With support from @music.hub.centraal , I was able to invest in collaborating with other artists such as @vjliza_renee , @lambowelt and @theycallmestevemusic . The set at @gracelandfestival makes me smile still. Goooood vibes! Continued DJing for @90snow_official and @stathe_utrecht has been a pleasure again in 2025. Looking ahead to 2026: a second EP is likely to be released, a remix on the way, a writerscamp with artists from Music Hub Centraal, and a video project with filmmaker @jeftavarwijk Thanks for your support and please reach out! Have great New Years Eve!

Today my first EP, Deep To Find, released on @deathbydaggerlabel . The three tracks are a result of my doomscrolling. I tried to capture the frustration of the apathy it creates within me, as well as a celebration of the truths that I came across while screenbound. Please let me know what you think! Link in bio. Many thanks to: @deathbydaggerlabel of course @timomeilof for mastering @lambowelt for mixing @vjliza_renee for visuals and promovideos @ter.ific for the artwork @music.hub.centraal for creative and financial stimulation And thank YOU for listening and sharing! ❤️
