Yesterday I brought the @diegorodbigband back to the Chicagoland Classic Band Festival hosted by my alma mater, @ddeband . Huge shout out to my former band director and one of the greatest influences in my life, @justinantos , for having us.
When I was growing up, there weren’t many opportunities in my area to hear professional musicians live, so it means a lot to be able to provide that experience for the young people in this community. I think opportunities like this are so important.
Much love to the wonderful musicians who took time out of their day to be here and make this happen. I’m truly blessed.

In 3 weeks, I’ll be presenting my final graduate recital here at the @depaulsom . These last two and a half years have had plenty of hurdles, but I’m grateful for every experience I’ve had nonetheless.
