Bonita Office in the Making Pt. 3 ✨
Meet our next artist collaborator, Diana “Didi” Contreras (@didirok )—a Peruvian artist based in Miami and a longtime friend of TBP🇵🇪💅🏼
Didi is highly known for her doll art, which graces many murals across the 305. Her Bonita mural took inspiration from Miami meets NY, chongas, the Mets (for that added NY touch), and Peru
We are so honored to have her work be part of our home base 🎨✨

Everyone has seen the colorful murals on Calle Ocho… but very few people know the woman behind them. 🎨❤️
Her name is Didi, an artist who came from Peru as a child and found inspiration in the heart of Little Havana.
For nearly 14 years, @didirok has been turning the walls of this iconic street into vibrant works of art that make thousands of people stop, smile, and take photos every day. 📸✨
But behind the colors and the beauty, there’s a powerful story of family, memories, and the places that shaped her life.
Watch until the end to hear why she says many of her murals are a gift to the city. 🎨❤️

Ever since I moved to Little Havana, I’ve wanted to paint a rooster. At @f1mia we created a tribute to Little Havana inspired by the original Calle Ocho rooster by Cuban Artist Pedro Damián. One day, maybe I’ll paint one on Calle 8 @gallo.ocho 🐓Thank you @illsurge 💞
