NEW RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION IN WEST TOWN
BLDG Projects completed the architectural, mechanical, and engineering design for this first of its kind T.O.D. building in West Town, Chicago and construction is nearing completion.
This was previously a vacant lot before we were tasked with bringing a new multi-family property to life in its place.
The new 3-story masonry building will include six (6) dwelling units, a duplex down of the basement, a 3-car parking pad with EV chargers, a rooftop deck with enclosed staircase access, and a balcony on the 1st floor.
Construction has progressed quickly and the framing is now 70% done.

OFFICE UNIT RENOVATION & INTERIOR DESIGN IN HINSDALE, ILLINOIS
BLDG Projects completed the architectural design for the interior renovations and new design of 1 office unit in this 2-story commercial building in Hinsdale, Illinois.
The client, Luxe Group Real Estate, wanted their newly designed and renovated office to match their luxury company branding and image.
We supplied renders and design plans accordingly, featuring a burgundy color palette throughout, dark red velvet curtains, detailed crown molding, leather & velvet chairs, and reeded glass details for their reception and conference room plus their two private offices.

MULTI-FAMILY RENOVATION IN EDGEWATER, CHICAGO
BLDG Projects completed the architectural, mechanical and engineering design for the renovation of a 3-story multi-family building in Edgewater, Chicago and construction is now well underway.
This project includes interior and exterior renovations to the existing 6 dwelling unit 3-story multi-family building with the addition of 2 ADUs to the basement and replacing the existing rear addition with a 3-story metal porch, bringing the new total to 8 dwelling units.
Construction is in rough approval inspection stages and moving on to the finished framing.

FAMILY CHRISTIAN HEALTH CENTER RENOVATION — BLDG Projects completed the architectural, mechanical and engineering design for the conversion of a funeral home into a Family Christian Health Center in Harvey, Illinois - in collaboration with Reed Construction as the GC.
The project includes interior and exterior renovations and construction is already well underway.
The facility will include a reception area, exam rooms, physical therapy rooms, nurse stations, provider offices, a cafe, kitchen, and more.

NEW INDOOR DOG PARK COMING TO AVONDALE, CHICAGO — BLDG Projects is in progress with the architectural and engineering design for a new indoor dog park coming to Avondale, Chicago - in Summer of 2026. Pre-order your membership here: /#memberships
This project features interior and exterior renovations to convert an existing warehouse into the indoor dog park for Zoomies Chicago.
Zoomies will be a large scale indoor dog park and human access bar featuring over 20,000 square feet of climate-controlled play space for off leash fun.
The facility will include a large dog park, a small dog park, boarding, grooming, as well as separate runs for solo play and training sessions.
Designed for both dogs and their humans, Zoomies will also feature a bar, cafe and lounge areas.

NEW LOGAN SQUARE BAR OPENING SOON — BLDG Projects completed the architectural design for this commercial interior & exterior renovation buildout for @tuneupchicago , a new bar coming to Logan Square, Chicago and opening soon.
Here’s a look at how the project evolved since our first site visit when it was a vacant property - plus construction progress pictures compared to our final approved renders and architectural, mechanical, and engineering drawings. We collaborated with @design_agn , who completed the interior design for the bar, and @foureg , the hospitality firm in charge of the project.
Tune-Up’s grand opening is tomorrow, Saturday February 28th, at 3810 W Belmont Avenue. Make sure to pay them a visit and check out this great nightlife addition to Logan Square, featuring a modern yet unique interior design plus a beautiful outdoor patio.

NEW CONSTRUCTION ADU IN LOGAN SQUARE, CHICAGO — BLDG Projects is in progress with the architectural and engineering design for this new construction ADU addition in Logan Square, Chicago and the project is nearing approval.
This project will feature a newly built ADU over the existing 2-car masonry garage at the rear of the principal 2-story single family building.
This ADU coach house is currently in the permit review stage and is expecting to be approved soon, with the contractor and owner planning to start construction in the coming months.
In case you missed it, the Chicago citywide ADU opt-in is coming in April this year - legalizing ADUs and coach houses in many new areas for the first time.
If you’re a contractor or owner interested in adding an ADU or coach house to your property, now is a great time to start your design projects to have your permit approved in time for construction to begin soon after the citywide ADU ordinance goes into effect.

COMMERCIAL RENOVATION IN MERRILLVILLE, INDIANA — BLDG Projects completed the architectural and engineering design for this commercial office renovation in Merrillville, Indiana and the project is nearing approval.
This project included interior and exterior renovations to an existing commercial property for Grid-Line Transportation Inc. to occupy as their new corporate headquarters.
The newly designed office will feature a beautiful foyer and reception area, co-working spaces and open office areas, two conference rooms, a kitchen/break room, and a lounge area.
We also designed several standalone offices for the CEO plus members of their operations, sales, safety, billing, IT, marketing, and HR teams.
