Dachen (@yyvvssssss ) steps into the Margins with a forlong sonic diary from a 90s transistor radio. Blending fragments of millennial Mandarine Indie, leftfield Shibuya-kei, and Asian underground club sounds - tracing the voices, textures, and regional mutations that have long shaped @dida.dida360 ’s orbit.

We designed this collection of slap bracelets for the 倫敦EYE愛 event. Inspired by 2010s Chinese internet subculture, we blend a childhood toy tucked away in our memories with the moody lyrics of iconic Chinese pop hits from that era. That ’snap‘ against your wrist carries the echoes of the past, letting tender melodies rest gently upon your forearm… ༘ᰔᩚ

“这六十分钟是我整个dj生涯的精髓, 也是互联网的尽头 亚文化的终点。These sixty minutes are the purest extract of my entire DJ life, the deep end of the internet, the final destination of subculture.”
This 59-minute sonic assault is the distilled essence of Virtual42’s years behind the decks. Featuring 51 tracks hand-picked from the deepest trenches of the web—exclusive gems you won‘t find anywhere else—and fused with his signature, high-intensity mixing. As 42 puts it: ’This probably is the final destination of subculture.‘

Our live artists will bring a selection of newly released and unreleased material this Friday. From millennium bedroom pop and Shibuya-kei to hyperpop shaped by fragmented internet culture, hushed cloud rap and experimental plug, they move across genres, searching through ever-shifting sounds for the most distinctive emotional textures.
*Online tickets already SOLD OUT. Limited tickets will be available at the door depending on capacity. Come early! ₊⁺♡̶♡̶₊⁺
On the streets of China back in 2010, you could be drowning in the emo haze of a viral web ballad, only to be knocked off your feet seconds later by the thunderous blast of a DJ dance remix.
¥10 for an all-nighter. One PC, one headset. Between QQ chats and frantic rounds of Super Dancer, they were busy cranking out ”Chuanshao“ medleys. In the grime of township internet cafes, a legion of bedroom DJs fell headfirst into an obsession with dance beats. They had nothing but contempt for producers with fancy gear-Turntables are for posers; we bring the hype with a mouse.(那些用打碟机的都是装逼,我们鼠标一样嗨)
On China Performance Net (中华演出网)you’d stumble upon a kaleidoscope of performers, DJs, and hustlers. Through dizzying, DIY-glitchy web pages, they bared their souls to every visitor, waiting for that one gig call or a custom track commission.
They spent their days doing back-breaking labor in county towns and their nights burning the midnight oil in internet cafes, desperate to stake a claim on those few precious music forums. They chased the slickest electronic trends and built the ”highest“ medleys, forget the genres.
On March 6th in London, we’re going to resurrect this scene. As Asian underground artists and DJs step back into a spotlight that’s brighter than ever, this collision is bound to trigger a dormant collective memory.
*All BGM sourced from the artists‘ original sites.

This is the debut episode of Dadi FM. Guided by @8bit.gurl , we step into a time machine drifting back to the hyper-rhythmic zones of the early 2000s.
As waves of euphoric Eurodance rush toward us, no one can resist moving in sync with the footsteps of angels. Shimmering synthesizers awaken the ever-shifting textures of Cantonese & Korean female vocals, carving lines of metropolitan emotion over restless, rapid-fire drum machines.
This set is suitable for listening in places including — but never limited to: on the way to clubbing; lying in bed; in a boring class…

On the night when the ballroom mirrors had already fogged over with sweat, when the loft’s wooden floor was trembling under the beat, and even when the NYPD showed up at the door—we didn’t fall out of rhythm.
Dancers sprinted toward the next drop following a waving battle-flag, the DJ’s sweat slipped onto the controller, and every knob hovered right on the edge of its limit…
A party found its way into us. The moment the first DJ hit play and the first live artist raised the mic, something from far across the ocean surged into this Asian ballroom that has stood here for more than thirty years.
From Funkot, Budot, Taike to Baile Funk, Jungle, Drain, the clash of styles kept stretching a boundless dance floor. And in the narrow angle between the wooden floor and the spinning disco ball, you could almost see it - 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭.
More photos and video content are about to drop, stay tuned.
