After Hours • DICK’S Varsity Team Orientation Recap
I took a break from my regularly scheduled Dad Hours to meet the DICK’S Varsity Team in Tampa and I had no idea what I was walking into.
On the surface — poolside with Stanley 1913, Birkenstocks customized, a yacht with adidas, workouts with On and FP Movement. Any one of those moments alone would’ve been enough.
But what actually blew me away was the level of detail and hospitality that DICK’S created as a backdrop for something more important… the people.
Creators from all different walks of life, all different ages, all different perspectives. Each one with a story worth telling. And despite those differences — including the age gap they made sure to remind me about 😂 — we left feeling like we’d known each other for years.
That’s the real orientation.
