Big thanks to @mark_ncl for hooking me up with one of the few remaining promo copies of the Overcast record on Iridium 77 Media which came out last year. Some nice heavy darkside hardcore. Also came with this cool little flexidisc of a spooky dark ambient type track from Xylocaine. Manhunt on PS2 late at night vibes. Wicked.

With releases on Sweet Sensi Records, Scared Money, Jungle Cat and Exstatic expect some heavyweight business! Bossman of the best record shop in Bristol (Collector Cave), you can only imagine how deep Drum Soldier's collection goes. He's gonna be digging for the deadliest Jungle and DnB cuts from the past and present. Watch out! I had totally forgotten that @echo.chamber.sound had sent me this dubplate of a remix I had done for the tune "Junglist Rock" by LQ & @sekkleman on the Echo Chamber Sound Label. Super limited edition, there are a few copies of the @rickyforceirl remix left though. Big ups the LQ!

I know i am quite late with this post, but like everyone else who knew him or bought his records back in the day, I was very sad to hear of General Malice's passing last year. I had spoken to him many times and shared tracks back in the mid-2000s via the Digital Bombing forum, and eventually also got some tunes on wax around that time with Good Fortune Sound and Big Cat Records, the label Clint was most known for releasing on back then. l recently dug out this old mix CD he sent to me in 2002, which somehow survived rattling around in the centre consoles and on the floormats of various shitboxes I drove back then, before being stored in a box and packed away for many years. I believe this mix may even slightly predate the first of his Big Cat records (at least the full releases) and was not as readily available in records shops as his follow up mix, Champion Sound Jungle, if at all. It still sounds fresh today and in the days before Spotify and YouTube, and in a part of the world where jungle music was relatively scarce at the time, this CD was crucial for me getting my fix of chopped up breaks and heavy bass.
