This spring, after more than a decade on Main Street, Oxford Pennant is moving to 775 Seneca Street in Buffalo’s Larkinville neighborhood! It’s a building with over a century of manufacturing history: gloves, garments, canvas goods, tents, awnings and soon pennants, flags, and banners.
This is an expansion. It’s also a bet that the pennant isn’t just nostalgia. It’s something that carries stories, marks moments, represents places and communities, and can be as vital in 2026 as it was in 1926.
Every time someone hangs an Oxford Pennant on their wall, they’re participating in something that’s been part of American visual culture for over a century. See you in Larkinville!
Yesterday, Sean Ryan was inaugurated as Mayor of Buffalo. I was proud to support his campaign and am excited to see him step into this role.
Sean is pragmatic and has a real vision for Buffalo, especially when it comes to getting the city’s finances in order, which is long overdue.
I’m committed to continuing to build our manufacturing business here in Buffalo, and I’m rooting hard for Sean’s success. When the city wins, we all do.
Here’s to a new day in the Queen City 🦬
It’s @dhoresh from Oxford Pennant with one last message before we close the books on this year’s Black Friday / Cyber Monday sale.
This December, we’ll wrap our 12th year running Oxford Pennant. Coincidentally, we started the company on Christmas Day 2013, and Christmas has become my favorite day as a business owner. Not just because I get the day off to be with my wife, kids and our families, but also because I obsessively check the company Instagram.
All day long, this account gets tagged with photos and videos of friends and families opening their presents and seeing the pennants, flags and banners that were thoughtfully selected for them. Sometimes they open their gifts and laugh, other times they cry (happy tears, I think) and on rare occasions their lives are changed (see: wedding pennants)
I love this company and it’s an honor to build it in my favorite city: Buffalo, New York. The holidays represent a once-a-year chance to tell our story, reconnect with old friends and customers, and make new ones. I recognize that Black Friday is a behemoth and that the marketing is incessant (blame the game). I can’t thank you enough for sticking with us.
Creating an item that means something to you is the most important thing to me. If you’re still looking for a gift that makes people feel something, our 24% off sale continues through 11:59 PST.
Happy holidays,
Dave
