šØWORLD RECORD RESET TWICE IN 1 WEEKENDšØ
We set out to dry dip in to a 10.8x we skipped it all together on Saturday and went 10.77. Sunday went out and reset the record again with a 10.7337 @ 123.51mph
With a 60ft of 1.47 i think thatās the quickest any stock turbo 2.0 MQB car has went
First stock turbo S3 in the world in the 7s for 100-200.
Far too many people to thank!
However thatās us finished with the stock turbo as we plan to step it up for next season. Roll on 2026
I had an amazing weekend with friends and we set some records and pbās bummed i wasnt there today but here is a recap:
-Friday we did 2 passes with @europes_fastest_rs3 his rs3 1 8.44 off the trailer then second pas we had a broken boostsolenoid going 9.5 on WG pressure and shortshifted.
Back in the pits we found out crank sensor was going out also so no more runs on friday.
@gillspeedracing golf was consistent doing 9.6 passes
Saturday we fixed the RS3 but due to weather no passes.
Sunday first pass 9.15 @174 with 1.36 ft
Second pass we did 1.35 60 ft but blew the boostpipe this was during eliminations so no more passes to be made.
Wayne on his first pass took the record on his mk7.5 golf with an 9.36 but broke out hard by that
@mike_s3_8v stayed in but got beaten the run after.
Monday i was back home but the guys where on test and tune.
1st pass 8.09 with 1.34 60ft
2nd pass dave turned up the launch to hard and it spun
3rd a boostpipe blew off again diffrent then day before but shit happens i guess
Waynes golf reset the record for the mk7.5 to 9.35 so was super happy again.
Then track got oiled down and closed for the day
Bummed we didnt go 7ās but hey no real damage no broken axles or driveshafts consistend mid to low 1.3 60ft.
We will get there together as a team.

It was fantastic to be back at the race circuit and this time testing was on the cards. The opportunity to get back in the seat and blow out the cobwebs was the biggest gain. Itās been almost 9 months since the car was driven in anger.
QUALIFYING was certainly not the best but couldāve been worse. It turned out later this wasnāt helped by my slightly over the top rear setup. The end result was P8.
RACE ONE suffered from the same set up issue as qualifying but despite this we held position and were gifted one place due to a non finishing car. We finished P7
RACE TWO was fantastic fun. The car now had the rear setup changed and was definitely more competitive. A great battle with @ryanedgecumbe and @charliebudd44 was the highlight of my weekend on track with places changing throughout the race. The race result was P4.
RACE THREE mixes up the top ten from the previous race and I was put in P6 for the start. Lap one was a little manic but by lap two things had settled down and it was a case of chasing down the car in front until I settled into fourth place once again.
