Happy Mothers Day to the woman who got me on this earth and to the dad that raised me like a mother would. I was around 11 when my mom passed. And my dad raised three of us kids all on his own. Iâm celebrating the grandmas, moms and aunts and sisters and men who provide stability and love to their families. I love you mom and dad.

This is my fourth year mentoring at SXSW and every year I have the chance to meet with aspiring entrepreneurs and surprisingly, a few college students who need some direction on where to take their careers. They always ask about my path, and itâs one that I love to share. I enjoy it so much and it makes me realize that the most important thing is connections and sitting face to face, listening, learning, dreaming.
