Who’s next? Seguimos revelando el line-up de #Concéntrico2026, que del 18 al 23 de junio activará Logroño a través de nuevas intervenciones en el espacio público. El nuevo equipo participante es DF_DC, un estudio de arquitectura y diseño urbano con sede en Londres, Zúrich y Lugano, fundado por Dario Franchini y Diego Calderon. Su trabajo aborda la producción de edificios, espacios y estrategias urbanas desde una aproximación que busca un lenguaje arquitectónico elemental, claro y permeable, atento a la relación entre estructura y materialidad. A través de una práctica colaborativa y una red internacional de socios, desarrollan proyectos que van desde intervenciones a pequeña escala hasta edificios públicos, masterplans y estrategias de desarrollo urbano. We continue revealing the #Concéntrico2026 line-up, which from June 18–23 will activate Logroño through a new series of public space interventions. The new participants are DF_DC, an architecture and urban design practice based in London, Zurich, and Lugano, founded by Dario Franchini and Diego Calderon. Their work focuses on the production of buildings, places, and urban strategies through an approach that pursues an elemental architectural language—both legible and porous—engaged with the relationship between structure and materiality. Through a collaborative practice and an international network, they develop projects ranging from small-scale interventions to public buildings, masterplans, and urban development strategies. Our December journey concludes in Basel with a new —and especially meaningful— stop on the Concéntrico & Friends Book Tour. We will present the book at Domushaus EG, with the support of Chrissie Muhr, in an event organised together with the editorial team of archithese —represented on this occasion by Nele Rickmann— who will introduce their special issue dedicated to Spain. We will also be joined by DF_DC, the studio behind Siempre Fiesta, a project that explored collective identity and urban celebration and which led them to become finalists of the La Calle a 10 años programme.
