Art Installation Series | Concept & Design by DE-YAN
Set within Tianren Shanshui Park in South China, Thousand Red Forest reimagined the natural landscape as a narrative playground.
DE-YAN developed the creative direction and design for a series of 20 permanent installations anchored in two parallel mythologies: WuxiaWorld and Fairy Tale.
From a monumental Mountain Gate to Character Revolution and a dreamlike carousel woven into the trees, each installation functioned as both sculpture and stage set.
Positioned as the largest forest park in South China, the project explored how mythology, cinematic staging, and spatial design transform landscape into experience.
