Coming away with 2nd 🥈 GC two consecutive weekends is a great season starter for me. Penn ar Bed is an insanely tough and fiercely ridden event and I’ve enjoyed both my times here. This time thanks to @prologueperformancecycling for taking me as a guest. 4th TT putting me in 2nd GC after yesterdays breakaway got me 7th. Everything to ride for in the final stage. I’m going into Stage 3 in 2nd GC so I’ll do my best!

Can’t really put into words how good it feels to get my first UCI win and be the only rider to podium 3 times at this event. So much learnt. So much to improve. Legs felt great even on the solo break with the peloton chasing hard.

Tour du Bocage was a three stage UCI event I was really looking forward to so 16th GC is disappointing. My Time Trial bike set up has some major flaws which cost me dearly on my TT result. Legs felt amazing and the power numbers were 👌so it’s just back home now working on the TT bike to get it how I want it. Germany next week to do it all again 💪

CiCLE Classic - 20th Rutland-Melton international event never fails to deliver tough and technical riding with a huge need for good luck to avoid mechanicals on abusive gravel, and crashes due to fast, narrow, technical routes. Thankfully the gods smiled on me yesterday with no mechanicals and no crashes (Not something all members of my team were lucky enough to avoid)
Legs felt good so happy with form, just couldn’t keep the peloton away on the couple of breaks I was in this year, but the 15th was a good intro into the rest of the season’s calendar. Plus new team car looking the business @strivegroupltd !!

Part two of @dextytownsend performance journey focused on his time trial position — and this one was very complicated.
We began by testing Dexter on his road bike, establishing a clear biomechanical baseline. From there, we transitioned to his TT bike, working carefully within UCI regulations, where millimetres matter and compromises are unavoidable.
The goal wasn’t simply to get lower — it was to improve biomechanical efficiency through the pedal stroke without sacrificing the excellent aerodynamic gains Dexter already had.
That balance is where TT fitting becomes an art as much as a science.
The result?
✔️ More comfortable
✔️ More aerodynamic
✔️ More powerful
All achieved within the rules — and with a position Dexter can sustain when it really counts.
Dexter continues to prove why he’s one of the most exciting junior time trialists in the world, and we’re incredibly proud to play a small part in his journey.

Aerodynamic Road Fit | Part One
We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Dexter into the studio for an aerodynamic road fit — the first step in a two-part deep dive into performance optimisation.
Dexter is already one of the best junior riders in the UK, and widely regarded as one of the top junior time trialists in the world.
An exceptional athlete with maturity, focus, and talent well beyond his years — and this is only the beginning.
This session was all about refining his road position: balancing aerodynamics, power production, and sustainability using our full performance toolkit.
Marginal gains matter at this level — and Dexter understands that better than most.
We’re incredibly privileged to be part of Dexter’s journey and excited to see what the future holds for him.
