Since FEMI JACOBS featured in the movie THE MEETING in 2012 and won an AMVCA award for the role in 2013, I knew there would be more! Femi is a fantastic, versatile, phenomenal, and top-notch actor in the way he delivers his roles. I am yet to see any contemporary role he cannot play, and so I am anxiously waiting for when he will feature in an epic movie. I am hoping it will happen soon. Femi made Bidoun Ogunmola's movie ANJOLA even more compelling, playing the role of a TTC father. He was deeply intriguing and displayed every emotion with so much natural flow. Kai Femi, you dey act, sir. You humbled acting! This is a movie for all couples, whether TTC couples or not, because of the many life lessons it offers, especially on perception and communication. Second movie: TEACHER'S BOY by Bidoun Stephen, which I wish had been titled Romade because I love that name, and the name of the lead actor😁 Young Romade was my favorite character. This is my first time seeing him on screen, but he seemed like someone who has been acting for years. He played the role of an unloved boy child so effortlessly and made it very believable. This movie made me hopeful because it is an advocacy film for the boy child. It showed us the challenges many of our men may have gone through, without us realizing that the trauma from those backgrounds shaped their general perceptions and attitudes towards life and most especially the female gender. The producers of both movies showed us what, for many years, we as a society have rarely talked about when it comes to the boy child and men:their pain, setbacks, challenges, struggles, anger, and many unshared feelings that they still carry as burdens to this day. And I applaud @bolajiogunmola and @biodunstephen for shining a light on the male gender beyond the atrocities committed by some of them in society. Welldone queens, take your flowers always! For there to be balance in the family and in our communities, based on expectations from both genders, both need the support when doing great and chastised when wrong. I recommend both movies with my full chest😁 They are worth every bit of your time and data! Welldone to the crew and cast

Nollywood is becoming very competitive and just like Kunle Afolayan shared on one of his interviews some weeks back, marketing may not be able to sustain the competition coming up in Nollywood. It may drive the instant indigenous sales but won't sustain it for global recognitions . The movie "My Father's Shadow" just won the AMVCA12 2026 movie of the year award, and this proved his review on movie becoming internationally sustained through technicalities beyond popularity or its marketing. This same movie was nominated at the Oscars, and featured in many top western countries festivals and many did not know about it neither did they know it was in the cinemas. Most likely the producers are not known among our social media influencers. Some movies have remarkable technicalities and not focused on marketing because it is about societal causes that are both locally and internationally relatable. They are may have more funds invested into the movie technicalities than the marketing. Like follow the goal - "Let the movie speak for itself". This may be hard for some producers because they need the immediate returns and so opt for YouTube or due to the low budget invested as well. For the movie "My Father's Shadow, the reviews online, they were great feedback from those who saw it. Just like the movie "Breath of Life" that won 2years ago that won the movie of the year 2024. And this may be the next big deal for Nollywood because corporates are coming into the business and popularity may not be able to compete with the standard expected in the technicalities we will be seeing soonest! As you are getting the rewards for the popularity, also be cautious to up the game on your works because some are behind putting more into their works beyond the popularity!. Excellence will always sell itself in due course!.

I saw this story over the weekend and it got me deeply inspired. πŸ™πŸ½ NO GENDER, NOR CLASS FOR VICTORIOUS MINDS- I love when women excellence in male dominated fields, I love seeing consistency, passion, and favour win! I love when drive with vision succeeds and celebrated with those who supported all the way acknowledged. VISION & FAITH - Her horse was behind but she could connect that this was her victory. She just knew he would win! She saw it before everyone else did. PLATFORM/RESOURCE - Her HORSE, the wunderdog horse that became the capstoneπŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½ It represents the weapon or platform of victory in our hands. May our resources work with us in faith. May they speak for us to break barriers and become pathfinders . Happy New Week friends! Video Credits - all sources acknowledged.

*Movie Recommendation* *SARAH'S OIL (On Amazon Prime)* For children above 7years. (Younger kids can watch too if they can be calm to listen πŸ˜…) About a true life story of young black girl's journey of faith, courage, resilience, intelligence, values, wisdom, not waiting for opportunities but going for it and speaking up against injustice. Even a young child can make impact with the right family values!

Finally, a different story from the usual Youtube Naija movie stories- BROTHERS IN ARMS I knew it would be different when I saw the advert on IG. May not have the perfect movie technicalities but the plot was a breath of fresh air from the love dovey predictable Youtube movies for me. For me ni o 🀣🀣🀣 because I know una love lovey lovey things. And what excited me most, is the story being focused on our brothers in pursuit of wealth via legal corporate business and career! I love the direction of the plot! We need more of this for our men! We need men who can align together in life goals and in faith! We need stories of the expectations needed from men as leaders in business and home . We need our men who can show and tell the younger generation of men, there is a call on you as long as you are a man because you are a priest regardless whether you are called to a pulpit ot not! Brother, you are every girl and boy, man or woman's priest. You have been called to be one brother! Stand on the call to lead and lead in faith with love for God, your goals qnd respect for humanity! Beyond the regular, where geoup of men are played as drug lords, cultists, fraudsters, etc. We need to see the men who are thriving legally and sweeter to see them in faith as well. We need to see their battles, hear their cries and see their tears because they do go through all the pains and life struggles as well. As there are no exceptions of any gender regarding battles! This movie may not be 10/10 in technicalities but for the direction of the plot, it is worth your time and data. Do watch watch and share with men in your circle! And to the artist who composed the background music- great job! Thank you and welldone to the leading characters, supporting roles and all crew of the movie! Una nail this one brothers. God bless you. @johnekanem1
