I sometimes think the best friendships are the ones that make you feel like you’ve accidentally wandered into the right movie—slightly underdressed, a little amazed, and absolutely certain you don’t want the scene to end.
Which brings me to these two: @stephsoechtig and @kmlazure of @atlasfilmsofficial . I wonder if they have any idea how much I adore them. Truly. We’ve zigzagged across this big, improbable rock floating in space together, finding ourselves in places that feel made up until you’re standing there, jet-lagged and laughing.
They have that rare combination—humor that sneaks up on you, depth that doesn’t announce itself, and a kind of honesty that makes everything feel just a little more vivid. Being around them makes you anticipate life, which is no small thing.
Anyway, I’m already looking forward to whatever comes next. Because if this is the story, I’d very much like to stay in it.
