San Antonio’s innovation community came together yesterday for Tech Day. Rain or shine, San Antonio showed up in full force! Our theme, “Made in San Antonio / Hecho en San Antonio,” was about recognizing the founders, builders, intrapreneurs, investors, students, professors, and leaders helping shape the future of our city. We had a packed room, meaningful conversations, and strong energy throughout the day. Across startups, capital, aerospace, bioscience, big enterprise, and AI, one thing was clear: San Antonio’s momentum is real. It was also exciting to see organizations like @bexarecd @techbloc , @velocitytx , @geekdomsa , @port_san_antonio , and the @greatersachamber @devsatx @vemos.vamos come together to help push the momentum forward and continue building a stronger innovation ecosystem, one that breaks down silos and builds bridges. Thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, supported the event, and helped make Tech Day such a success. Big shoutout to 434 Media for producing this event! The future of San Antonio’s innovation economy is not something we wait for, it’s something we build together.

events like AI April kickoff are a good reminder that strong tech ecosystems are built as much on culture as they are on code. a lot of good energy in the room friday. @alamotechcollective hosted, @geeksanddrinkssanantonio helped create the atmosphere, and @devsatx helps people find their way to it in the first place. that connective layer matters. it’s how the city stays discoverable, collaborative, and alive. #AIApril #SanAntonioTech #CommunityTech #SATech #TechCulture

I walked into an AI build session not knowing Anthropic, @claudeai , Lovable or GitHub. Two hours later… my entire website architecture was built. ⬇️ At the @suitcasecoder x SheBuilds Lovable event for International Women’s Day — sponsored by Anthropic and Stripe — the @devsatx community gathered to learn how to build with AI and ship something real in a single day. Thank you to @berrytobean Coffee House for the late-night addition of a projector and screen — a great setup for intimate trainings and workshops. I arrived unfamiliar with the tools. But coding itself isn’t new to me — I first learned to code in elementary school at @trinityu . By the end of the session I had built my website architecture, generated clean code, and pushed it to @github . But the real work happened before the prompt. For months I’ve been developing my $10M Personal Brand Architecture, and during the session I used ChatGPT to generate 20 strategic deliverables that translated strategy into a working platform system. In other words, I wasn’t prompting a website — I was architecting the foundation of a media platform. Then I distilled everything into one Lovable instruction: “build using clean semantic HTML and CSS with minimal JavaScript” so the layout can transfer easily into @wordpress using @elementor That constraint, plus an AI-optimized @lovable.dev prompt, produced clean, portable code. Powered by a matcha latte — and look what I created: Full platform architecture designed and deployed. Working site. Code saved to GitHub. #thefabkara #internationalwomensday #womenintech #womenfounders #aiforbusiness

This week’s Takeaway Thursday brings us back to a line from Rachel Davis that’s aged well: “The story behind what you build is just as important as the build itself.” We first explored this idea in a hands-on LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshop, where every model came with context, intention, and meaning. Since then, the pace has accelerated. The projects are more public. The pressure is higher. The outputs are cleaner. For us at 434 Media, the difference between good work and game-changing work is clarity of intention. We design, produce, and amplify content that communicates, connects, and compels. Question: If someone asked why your current project exists, could you answer without showing them the final product? 434media.com

Yesterday’s San Antonio Startup Day with @launchsatx was a huge success. We saw so much entrepreneurial spirit in the room, made meaningful new connections, and welcomed many new faces into the ecosystem. From insightful conversations to genuine networking, the energy throughout the day was exactly what San Antonio’s startup community is all about. We’re already excited to host our next Startup Day very soon, stay tuned for what’s coming next.

but do u awaken the best in people?? I can already tell 2026 is gonna be 👩🏻‍🍳 💋 enjoy my favorites folder lately and yk what get an insight on what my Notes app looks like 💀👇🏼 YOU get to decide who you are, how you show up and what rooms you’re in. If you want to be “successful”, you can’t just wait for it to happen, you have to take action. And you have to take so much action and if you’re lazy and don’t want to do all that well then u at least have to make very intentional action lol Your final test is in the 3D world Who do u want to work along side? not FOR but alongside? dOnt forget that ur just “renting eyeballs” on social media u can lose it all in an instant, what are you TRULY building??
