Hello everyone ! I just wanted to make a post to talk about the unavoidable decision that I have to make. With rising costs across the board, I'll be honest I am struggling. This year I made the decision to use stainless steel hardware. I wanted to create items at the highest possible quality that will last, and i want to continue doing so. This came at a huge cost, having to buy new expensive tools as well as insurance and website costs which need to be paid regardless of how much is coming in. All of this means that I have to increase my prices. I have learnt so much from the past couple of years and I have also learnt that I need to pay myself fairly for the hours of physical work, creativity and mental work that goes into making handmade creations and running a business (especially as a neurodivergent, shy and chronically afraid and neurotic person 😅). I will still create items at a variety of prices and will do sales every now and then as I want to make sure its as accessible as possible for everyone. These prices will be reflected on the website in a few weeks, so if there is anything you have been looking at, now is the time! The Creature Bag is probably my most time consuming and difficult item to make! But one of my favourites. It is certainly a statement piece, a handbag that feels clean, distressed, elegant and deconstructed, all rolled into one 🖤⛓️🖤
