Earlier this year I developed the new portfolio website for Belgian painter @lagast_peter The goal was to create a platform that could present his work, exhibitions and publications in a clear and structured way, while reflecting the way his paintings are often exhibited in physical spaces.
Peter frequently presents his works in grid-like installations, where paintings are stacked and supported by small wooden slats along the wall. This exhibition method became the main visual concept for the website. The interface translates this spatial logic into a digital structure allowing works to be browsed.
The website functions as a portfolio and archive, bringing together recent works, past and upcoming exhibitions, and publications. The design remains minimal, allowing the paintings themselves to remain central while the structure subtly echoes the way they are presented in real life.

A collection of 140 objects, gathered in a broadsheet titled ‘Encyclopedia Of Human Folly’. Spread across 40 pages and divided into 31 thematic groups, these objects are visually compared with large portrait photographs. Each portrait refers to a moment in history when humanity failed. The images are enhanced by excerpts from The Project Gutenberg eBook of Standard Selections, which add an extra layer of meaning to the whole.

In this design, the full focus is on typographic visual language. For each of Henry VIII’s six wives, I created a personal monogram. Inspired by Gothic typefaces, I conducted my own research and developed a unique series of letterforms in a self-created style.
