Yesterday, DRD hosted their second home game of the season. First up was DRDA against one of our favourite teams, Bath Spartans. We knew it was going to be tough and a close game and it was! The final score was DRDA 178 - 132 Bath Roller Derby. To quote Hops (our bench) we were only ever a power jam or two away from losing! The second game was SRT against Bristol Bees. There was a 30 point jam from Elf Hazard from SRT, you don't see many of those any more! The final score was SRT 234-83 Bristol Bees A day of amazing roller derby all round! Massive thanks to all the skaters, officials, helpers and supporters who made it a tremendous day to be part of. We're very VERY excited about this game - we know Bath Roller Derby have been training hard since DRD met them in last year's Five Nations and will want to show us it's Bath Time! 🛁 🦆 With only a 2 point difference in our score differentials against Brighton in February, this promises to be a super close game. Team announcement time! Two of our favourite South West teams will be meeting for the first time since 2019 and it promises to be an exciting game. First whistle for Severn Roller Torrent v Bristol Bees is 1.40pm, don't miss it!

This Transgender Day of Visibility we'd like to share some words from league members about what being involved in roller derby means to them...
