🇧🇷🌈 2025 Para-Cycling Track World Championships — Rio de Janeiro, Brazil What. A. Week. 🔥 Came away with two silver medals — 🥈 in the Kilo and 🥈 in the Match Sprint. Proud of those rides, but I’ll be honest — I really wanted to defend that Kilo world title from last year. It hurts not to, but that fire just keeps burning stronger. 💥 Then came the best part — WORLD CHAMPION 🥇 in the MC3 Scratch Race! 🌈 That one meant a lot. The grind, the long days, the setbacks, the comebacks… it all paid off. The racing in Rio was unreal — the atmosphere, the competition, the energy — everything you dream about as an athlete. Massive shoutout to our man @devonbriggs13 on becoming an SSI Classified Diver💥🌊🐠 One of Aotearoa’s top Para-cycling athletes, Devon was born with Bilateral Talipes (club feet) but that’s never defined him. At the 2024 Para-Cycling Track World Champs in Rio, he crushed it with: 🥇 Gold + a world record in the Men’s C3 1km Time Trial (1:05.259)
🥈 Silver in the C3 Omnium
🥉 Bronze in the C3 Individual Pursuit Now he’s taking that same drive and determination underwater. 🤿 
Scuba diving has become a new place of challenge and calm, already showing he’s just as unstoppable in the water, as he is on the track. 🚲 💧 But this isn’t just about his own journey. Devon is determined to show others in the disability community that this is something they can do too. That adventure, connection, and discovery are possible beneath the surface, and there is a place for everyone in the ocean. 🌍💫 We’re proud beyond words to walk (and dive) alongside him.
