✨ 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗬 & 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘 𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗥 ✨ We’ve recently given both spaces a little refresh at Devon Antenatal Family Centre CIC 🌈 Our 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 and 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿 are designed to help reduce waste, encourage community sharing and support local families in a simple, welcoming way. You’ll find fresh bread, pantry items, baby essentials, toys, books, flowers and little extras when donations allow. 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘, although cash/card donations are always appreciated 🌈 𝗡𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀. 𝗡𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝘀. 𝗡𝗼 𝗷𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁. This relaxed, practical session gives you the confidence to handle real-life situations calmly and safely. No fluff, just clear guidance and hands-on practice so you actually know what to do. You’ll cover things like: ✨ Breathing and none breathing casuaties for babies, children (and adults) ✨ Choking ✨ Burns, bumps, breaks and bleeding ✨ Seizures, meningitis and common illnesses ✨ When to call for help and what to say ✨ ….lots more! It started with a newborn, a graduation… and an idea. From small groups in borrowed spaces, to 2018 and opening The Hub, welcoming people through the doors for the very first time. Covid changed everything, and like so many others we had to adapt. That’s when everything moved online and the baby bank was born, during a time when people needed support more than ever. Then came Cross Street… a huge, empty, crumbling space that felt equal parts exciting and terrifying. There were plenty of moments where I questioned what I’d taken on, but step by step it came together. The award-winning Centre you see today. A popular play café, a shop, a baby bank, courses and workshops… and a space that so many families now call part of their journey. But it’s never really just been about the space. It’s the quiet chats, the hugs, the support when it’s needed most, and a community company built on the belief that no family should be left behind. None of it would be what it is without the team who show up every day and make it what it is. That’s what holds it all together. Thank you for being part of the last 12 years 💛 Here’s to everything still to come ✨

🌈 𝐓𝐄𝐍 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐍… You can Google information. You can’t Google friendships. This was one of my antenatal groups from 2016. The top photo is them as tiny babies… The bottom photo is them 10 years later, still together 🥹 Friendships are a huge part of an antenatal course. Because in those early days, it’s not just about feeding, sleep or birth plans… it’s about finding your people. The ones who get it, who are in it with you, and who you grow alongside your family.
