𝙸𝚗 𝙲𝚊𝚜𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚃𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚘𝚠
This immersive installation transforms a warehouse space into a partitioned retro-futuristic living room inspired by the Fallout series. Held during a music festival, guests are welcomed into the refuge for a moment of reflection.
Drawing from 1950s visions of tomorrow defined by optimism and technological promise, the work revisits a time when the future felt expansive and full of possibility.
CRT televisions reference analog technologies that make systems visible and tangible, in contrast to modern devices where everything is hidden. Throughout the space, dummy-like figures reference mid-century test environments, positioned among scattered artifacts that echo past and present anxieties. Loops of consumerist commercials and fragmented news feeds are projected into picture frames, depicting the constant informational noise of today.
“In Case of Tomorrow” acts a reminder that conscious choices shape the trajectory of our future, holding onto the idea that there is still tomorrow.
