💃 Thank You, @s.factor.official — and the Women Who Redefined Movement 🇺🇸
A huge thank you to @sheilakelleys , the visionary who created S Factor — a movement that goes far beyond dance or fitness. What she built is a space where strength, vulnerability, and expression coexist — and even Jacqui was deeply moved and surprised by how powerful it truly is. What started as one of our 50 sports quickly became something much bigger — an experience that reached beyond the documentary itself.
We’re also so grateful to @devlytle , whose skill, precision, and energy guided us through the athletic and emotional layers of S Factor. Her ability to explain the technique and the purpose behind every move showed just how empowering this discipline can be.
If you want to truly understand the heart and story behind this movement, we highly recommend watching - Strip Down, Rise Up Documentary on Netflix — it’s eye-opening, emotional, and beautifully real.

She began as a student, later became an instructor,
and now continues to inspire thousands with her storytelling and creative work.
Thank you, Devin, for your guidance, creativity, and coaching skills that helped shape our journey.

💃 Pole Dancing — Who Is It Really For? 🇺🇸
Pole dancing has transformed into a global sport that blends art, athleticism, and body awareness — and it’s for everyone.
For kids, pole fitness (when offered) focuses on gymnastics-style training — coordination, grip strength, and control, without the sensual elements. It builds confidence, balance, and full-body strength in a fun, supportive way.
For adults, it’s often a path to empowerment and self-expression, helping people reconnect with their bodies and confidence through movement.
And yes — men are increasingly part of the pole community too. Many are elite athletes who use pole for power, endurance, and aerial control, proving that the sport isn’t defined by gender, but by skill and passion.
Pole dancing has one rule: if you can move, you belong.

🤸🏼|✨ Sport #23 of 50 — Pole Dancing! 🇺🇸
This week we stepped into Los Angeles at @s.factor.official , where dance meets empowerment and strength. Our guide was @devlytle , former S Factor instructor and performer, whose journey now spans online content creation and instruction.
Inspired by the founder @sheilakelleys , S Factor blends pole work, strength training, and expressive movement to build confidence, control, and self-expression.
In one hour we learned balance, posture, and rhythm in a whole new way.
This isn’t just fitness—it’s freedom in motion.

we can only imagine what it was like working at @buzzfeedvideo in the 20-teens 😰 if those walls could talk 👀 in case anyone (@safiyany & @devlytle or the entire cast of ladylike) is listening…we’re all ears 👯

I want in on the 2016 photo dump trend! 2016 was cool! I went to Chicago, photobombed my friend’s pictures at the Beyonce concert, saw Team USA Basketball in a friendly against China, filmed a short documentary about my buddies hockey team and drank a bunch of beer. It was sweet times man.
Can’t get too deep into 2026 without commemorating one of my favorite parts of 2025. Every time I tried to post I got overwhelmed and gave up - how can 20 pics or a few paragraphs communicate the joy and depth of this project?
I’m so grateful to everyone who donated their time and talents last summer! We really just said “fuck it” and tried this out in 2024, and people seemed to have enough fun that we leveled up a bit in 2025. Our production of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING was STUN-IN! The music, the acting, the LIGHTING !!
And even though the performances were magical - the real joy is getting together every week for two months with your best friends and fuckin’ around and forgetting about the algorithm.
We’re meant to be in person, we’re meant to be outside, and we’re meant to make art with our friends. Fully crying now. Thank you for coming and supporting our show, and thank you to the Bard In The Yard cast and crew who made this summer so, so special.
