Introducing The Staccato Collection. A collaboration born from friendship and a shared design ethos rooted in material exploration, craftsmanship, and a dialogue between past and present. @astraeusclarke precision metalwork and celestial motifs meet @devinwilde ’s sculptural ceramic forms in a unified lighting system that feels at once architectural and atmospheric, precise and expressive, familiar and entirely new. Inspired by the romance of an Italian summer, sun-washed villas, and evenings that stretch long into the night. Handcrafted in New York City. Made to order. More soon.

Brooklyn-based ceramicist Devin Wilde expands his collection with DWR introducing Vessel No. IX alongside a new suite of custom glazes exclusive to the retailer. Shaped by an architectural sensibility, Wilde’s work draws from historic city forms and material detail, translating them into sculptural objects defined by balance, geometry, and surface. When creating his exclusive palette for DWR, ceramic artist @devinwilde looked to history and modern design alike. Darkened metallic glazes are inspired by Greek and Roman armor, while richly saturated primary colors nod to the midcentury spirit of the Eameses and Alexander Girard. “The design language I use in my pieces is this careful balance of distinctly modern and distinctly ancient architectural styles,” Wilde says. “The glaze choice can either push away from one or the other.” Tap the link in bio to discover Wilde’s richly glazed collection – including ornate yet functional bowls, platters, and cocktail and side tables – only at DWR.

Artist @devinwilde first got his hands on clay at just two years old, shaping miniature figures from oven-bake polymer. Today, that sense of curiosity lives on his Brooklyn studio, where he hand-sculpts ceramic vessels and tables inspired by the ornamental geometry of Art Deco architecture in NYC. The result: functional forms with sculptural presence. “I like to think of them as usable art,” Wilde says. Watch Devin's full interview on YouTube at the link in bio.
