We welcomed Cameron Stanley Beckett to the world January 16th at 9:01pm, weighing 7lbs 14.5oz. He’s such a precious gift and we love him to bits!! His name….Cameron (for Grandpa Ron McMichael) and Stanley (for Grandpa Stanley Beckett)…two wonderful men we both look up to…so it seemed only fitting to name our little man after them. Thanks for choosing us, Cameron 💕 “You give us roots, so we can give you wings” ~ Julie Flett @tylerbeckettfiddle

2 years ago this month, I launched the 410Method. In my own fitness journey, I was fed up with “nothing working” - I had tried all the fad workout programs and diets and I still was unhappy with how I looked and how I felt. So, I set out on a mission to figure it out. I researched, explored and implemented….the tools I gathered were my life line and helped to move me from stuck and frustrated to feeling better than I ever had before. 410Method is a compilation of what I used to get myself out of a rut of feeling unwell. When I took some time to reflect this week, I dug into some old journals…and I found an entry from when I first started designing the method. It is still true today; “I want people to develop a positive relationship with food and with their body. I want them to celebrate and love the body they are in without restricting and overexercising. I want them to look at all aspects of their health - to explore habits, sleep, stress, lifestyle, mental state and relationship with themselves. I want them to learn to be kind to themselves, and learn how to approach this content with loving-kindness. I want to help them create a well-balanced routine that leads them towards wholehearted living.” The 410Method started as a 6 week transformation challenge - and while the 410Method pillars have remained the same, the delivery of the content has evolved A LOT over the past two years. When I look back on its development, it’s a rollercoaster ride…finding my way in the online format has had its fair share of ups and downs. Truthfully, I almost abandoned it several times. What got me through was the one thing that has always stayed constant…my passion for this program and what I believe it can do for its members. Thanks to the beautiful work of @lauramaenason I am launching an updated 410Method site () where you can find all program information. If you are like me, you are plagued with these questions ALL THE TIME: Do you even have the willpower to keep going? Do you deserve what you desire? Will this just end up being like the other times you started and quit? What if I don’t see results? What about intermittent fasting? Keto? Paleo? Bulletproof coffee? Supplements? Who’s up for some positive change? ⏰ You’ve got 48 hours ⏰ I have a hunch I know what you are thinking... “Not right now...” “I don’t have time...” “I’ll fall off the wagon, just like the last time...” But give me 30 seconds and think about how you are currently feeling (tired, uncomfortable, stuck, unhealthy, sore, shame, overwhelmed) Now....give yourself another 30 seconds to think about what you WANT to feel (vibrant, energetic, capable, in charge, confident, healthy, strong) Which list do you prefer? If you are wanting to get unstuck and work towards feeling the best you ever have, your time is NOW. Here are some great questions from some of my recent applicants: ❓“Do I need equipment?” You need a space that you can move comfortably in. Access to dumbbells and a foam roller is highly recommended but body weight modifications will always be provided! ❓“How much time do I need?” Each workout will be between 45-60 minutes. We will provide suggestions on what to modify if you have to crunch your workout into a smaller time frame ❓”How do I know if an online plan is right for me?” If you’ve struggled in the past with sticking to a plan, I guarantee this plan is for you.
