Epic day at ROI Massachusetts camp! The sun was shining and the conditions were prime. Thank you to our hosts, @wachusettmtn , and huge thanks to all our volunteers, families and campers for attending and making our 14th annual MA camp such a magical day. Big thanks to the huge team from @omnipod who attended the event, and to our friends at @dexcom for sponsoring… and lastly (but certainly not least!) we loved having Rachel from @amdiabetesassn to steward our parent session. Same weekend, same place next year… who’s with us?!

🎉XTRA SPECIAL🇸🇻 week over here at the coffee castle! We have rotated our special spro and light filter option to Finca Santa Matilde Natural from El Salvador AND we have changed our portafilters back to being bottomless. So come see that drip drop and feel tip top! Santa Matilde is currently owned by the fifth generation of coffee producers of the Ariz-Herrera family, making it one of the first farms in the Concepción de Ataco region to grow specialty coffee beginning in 1875. The family has been bringing sustainability, social responsibility, and employment to the communities around the farm for over 100 years Coffee from Santa Matilde is partially processed at Germania, the small mill within the farm, which has depulpers, washing equipment, and drying facilities. Santa Matilde pulps the freshly harvested cherries without water to retain all of the mucilage, then dries them on raised beds for up to 14 days to reach optimal conditions. Once dried, the coffee is stored at the El Carmens warehouse, where Santa Matilde coffee is dry milled and prepped for export Santa Matilde has won much recognition for the quality of their coffees, including top placement in the El Salvador Cup of Excellence in 2018 and 2019 Producer / Andres Acosta Farm / Finca Santa Matilde Region / Apaneca-Ilamatepec Variety / Bourbon Processing / Natural Elevation / 1,375 masl Notes / Milk Chocolate, Cherry, Toffee Heads up y’all; this coffee tastes like a an absolute dank candy bar with cherries! Come try some starting tomorrow at 8am!
